Ocean recycled plastic used in Tidal Tees are recovered and recycled from ocean bound sources. The plastic used in Tidal Tees is provided by HHI and is certified to be sourced from oceanbound sources like rivers and other waterways leading to the ocean within a 50 mile distance from the ocean.
Why do you use a blend of ocean plastic and virgin material in your products?
Tidal Tees are primarily made from Oceanbound Recycled HHI 9055 PP provided by HHI. A smaller percentage of the blend of plastic is virgin material, which is added to improve the durability of the product. However the majority of the material in the blend is made from the ocean recycled material.
